Dedicated to the memory of Cecil (George to work friends)

This site is a tribute to Cecil, affectionately known as George by his work friends. He is very much loved and will always be remembered by his family and friends.

Cecil and Margaret had 4 children... George, John, Robert and Pauline. who wish to thank you for taking the time to remember their Father.

Cecil (Cec, to Margaret his late wife) Dad / Grandad / Great Grandad Cecil had a wonderful life, blessed with good health until his last year, where after a serious chest infection he became more frail and needed day to day assistance... but his humour, love and general knowledge were all still quite sharp and he still liked a good debate xxx

Cecil loved spending time with his children, grand children, great grand children and friends. He visited Australia spending time with his eldest son George and his younger Sister Pat, he enjoyed travelling.

Cecil will be remembered by many for growing amazing dahlias, his front garden looked beautiful, and the back garden bursting with vegetables... if he wasn't gardening he enjoyed fishing, bowling, painting, classical music and socialising with pals playing domino's.

He will be dearly missed but certainly lovingly remembered. He lived a wonderful happy life, one to celebrate
